There are many traditions and teachings that include the creation of a magickal persona as a part of the training of a practitioner. This is sometimes referred to as the magickal personality, the magick self, and other similar terms. There is a great deal of variation in how the magickal persona is used and described in different systems so do not assume that practitioners mean the same thing even if the same words are used.
