Paganicon 2025 has ended
Saturday March 22, 2025 10:30am - 12:00pm CDT
Explore and learn the process of designing and constructing effective outdoor shrines. Shrines can be temporary or have longevity, but with good design and planning they will help expand your spiritual practice by actively inviting deity and energies to inhabit and interact with your people, and create a focal point to enliven your land long term with their presence.
The first half is a discussion of integrating all the considerations in shrine design: materials, location, access, intention, limitations, This would include images of various outdoor shrine visions, materials, construction techniques, and results. The second half is a discussion of using shrines as a focal point for practice, and improving outdoor space in fertility, wildlife, and spiritual interaction through the use of shrines.
