When we lead groups of people in ritual, we help bring people from the everyday into the magical, the mystical, the transformative, and the deep; we become the bridge between two worlds. But how can we bring people into that magic more effectively? Together we will explore how sound, rhythm, and movement can work with other trance techniques to add depth to our rituals.  This will begin as a workshop exploring ritual facilitation techniques of chanting, singing, and trancework, and will end as a group ritual to practice skills. We’ll explore different types of ritual working and what techniques will best support that including holding space, trance journeying, and raising energy. We’ll also work with the interplay of voices, harmonies, and rhythm, as well as how drumming and other instruments can add to the power of group chants. All musical skill levels welcome.
