When looking at doing magical work and making profound change in your life, timing is an important condition to consider. We can only do magic in the present moment, but that moment is defined by all that has come before and what we imagine is to come. That moment is also one station in a great cycle that repeats again and again. This workshop will offer an experiential practice to find ourselves in linear and cyclical time, and use the powers of each to manifest the spiral, empowering us to make change in accordance with will.

Psychological Magic: Psychotherapy as Healing-Magic In this talk we will explore the practice and process of psychotherapy—or perhaps more aptly named, psychetherapy (i.e., soul-therapy)—through an historical, magical, archetypal, and mystical lens. What are the elements of psychetherapy that make it such a powerful type of healing-magic and soul-magic? For the client and the therapist. How can psychetherapy be engaged in ways that bring healing-magic to all domains: mind-body-relationship-environment-soul-spirit? Does your therapist need to be a Pagan or Heathen for therapy to be magic? Join me—a licensed therapist and Pagan—to explore these questions, and more.

No doubt over the years -- decades even -- you've acquired not only books and documents, but tools and art to fill your Pagan home and heart. But have you given thought to what will become of that stuff when you're gone? It's a very real question. Sure, you can donate books, or upcycle clothing, but what about that bog oak wand you paid a pretty sum for? Or all those rocks from rituals that are piling up in your house that are ritually sacred but you can't recall why. (Most of that does not belong in an archive; you aren't Raymond Buckland and don't deserve a museum; and don't think your students or coven sibs will take them, they have their own stuff.) A pressing issue as time moves on, let's talk about magical object acquisition and release.
When we set pen to paper, power is released. It is a major tool in cognitive therapy, helping to understand and release the wounds we carry. In the hands of a shaman or a witch, the pen facilitates discussions with the future and hidden selves; it shapes our wild desires into concrete manifestations, becoming the fire of transformation itself. In this workshop, you will infuse and bless your personal pen of Will, hiding in its core a message from your soul that draws the wild magik into reality, shaping your desired life. With focused intention, we will explore how movement, myth and music can change your writing in a single moment as you claim a powerful tool to honor a life well lived. #Movement, sounding, writing.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a psychospiritual framework used within modern mental health care modalities to address trauma at the source. IFS holds that we all have multiple aspects inside us: many parts but only one Self. Through IFS we have tools that allow us to recognize when a part is making our decisions vs when the self is driving the bus. IFS also gives us the beautiful gift of connecting the compassion of the Self to the parts so that the parts can become unburdened and released from their extreme roles. This is the deeply transformative work of post traumatic growth that Katrina has dedicated herself to studying and sharing with the world. In this presentation, Katrina will break down the major components of IFS so that participants will walk away with knowledge of the framework. She will also build upon the inherently spiritual aspects of this modality. IFS is quite rare in the world of psychology in that the creators of IFS are open that IFS is absolutely spiritual in nature. Katrina will share her perspectives on Self as relating to spirit and source. She will offer prayer and other animist practices as crucial pieces of trauma healing and share ways that the participants can take these practices home with them.

Ragnarök is a Trickster-teaching, and not only because Loki plays a prominent role in it. Like other Trickster-tales in our world mythologies, Ragnarök simultaneously warns, teaches, and guides us in unexpected and insightful ways. In this workshop, we will explore these Trickster-teachings in hopes of gleaning the most from this most foreboding and most paradoxically inspirational and promising of myths. Ragnarök shows us what is possible (in the best way and the worst way). Ragnarök shows us that—even though cataclysm may be an inevitability—we may still have a choice on how this cataclysm unfolds. Will it play out as Civil War II, and WWIII, and the near-total self-destruction of humanity? Or will it play out as an internal, alchemical psycho-spiritual-social healing-transformation? Let’s see what the Trickster has to say.
