Stirring The Cauldrons
Friday March 21, 2025 10:30am - 12:00pm CDT
In this ritual-meets-workshop, we’ll use the mythology of the Cauldrons of Poesy as a guide to experience how simple movements, altar work, and visualization techniques can invigorate our magical practice regardless of age, ability, experience, or tradition. These Cauldrons help us connect the mind, body, and spirit, aiding us to become more present in our physical and emotional selves – which in turn empowers our magical practice. Accessible to all.

Stav Rhythm: A Nordic pathway to spiritual discovery
Sunday March 23, 2025 9:30am - 10:45am CDT
The Staff Carriers Staff
While drums have made their way into Scandinavian culture, the drum was not historically used by the Norse. The Norse used staff rhythm, shakers, and vocalization in their rituals and ceremonies. Using staff rhythm connects us to the world tree. Humans were made from trees! As a modern völva, Kari Tauring began "staving" as a spiritual pathway in 2003. Wood on wood on wood brings us into alignment with the nine worlds, the runes, and our own breath and sound.

Learn a little about the historical use of staff rhythm and participate in the oldest known ritual song and dance that uses staff rhythm in Norway, Bjønndansen ein Ritual fra Trysil. I didn't know any living tradition of the use of staff in this way until I met Mads Bøhle in Norway in June 2009. This video was made in May of 2009!

Bring a clean stick/staff (no larger than a broom handle) and smaller striking stick (the size of a wooden spoon) and a cutting board for the floor to join in song, movement, and an active journey through the World Tree!

All levels of mobility will be accommodated.

Closing Plenary: Strengthening Our Communities in Challenging Times
Sunday March 23, 2025 3:30pm - 5:00pm CDT
Plenary: Strengthening Our Communities in Challenging Times
As the political and social climate in the U.S. continues to shift, it is more important than ever for Pagan communities to foster strong networks of connection, support, and mutual care.
Join our Director of Programming Becky Munson to discuss how we can ensure that all members feel safe, valued, and supported during these uncertain times.
Together, we will explore ways to strengthen inter-group relationships, create welcoming spaces, and provide meaningful support for those who may face challenges due to their religious identity or intersecting aspects of their identity.
While we recognize that broader cultural divides persist, our focus will be on building inclusive, compassionate, and resilient communities where everyone feels a sense of belonging.
This discussion is an opportunity to share ideas, listen to diverse perspectives, and collectively envision a future where Pagan communities not only endure but thrive through mutual aid and solidarity.
