About me
Maddie Cardoza (they/she) is a queer singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Providence, RI. Their music falls somewhere between dreampop and indie folk, and their songs are love letters to existence, nature, and the bonds of community. Along with her solo endeavors, she plays keys, horns, and sings with The Nathaniel Johnstone Band (Providence, RI), and also plays horns with Hooly J Chan and the Wicked Queer Puppet Theater (Westport, MA).
She is also an aspiring novelist currently drafting a fantasy trilogy centered around a coven of witches and the kingdoms they live between. The characters of those books have inspired several of her songs (Bound, Nothing Else Matters). When she's not songwriting or prose-writing, she is either reading, playing video games, trying to learn too many languages at once, or playing more Sudoku than is probably healthy.
Maddie's music can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, YouTube, and more. You can support them best by buying their music on Bandcamp or joining their Patreon.
