About me
I’m a Chicago native-turned-Witch of the Woods somewhere in Lake County, Illinois. I'm a first-generation Serbian-American raised bilingually in a Pagan-saturated Dvoverovanje ("Dual-Faith") cultural upbringing. I’m deeply religious and my views can be described as Hard Polytheist, with a cultic focus on Chthonic/Death Deities. I’m a Death Midwife, Spirit Worker, Astrologer, Writer, and Founder of the Fellowship of Isis-chartered Iseum of the Rekhet Akhu, whose mission is to highlight the interrelatedness of the living and the dead and to cultivate transfigured spirits (Akhu, plural in ancient Egyptian) within ourselves in our lifetimes. I hold an M.A. in English from Loyola University Chicago and I am the author of In Praise of the Lady of Power: An English-Language Booklet of Prayers Dedicated to La Santa Muerte (Nemetona Press, 2024). I also create Deity-specific, ritually consecrated works of devotional jewelry that I sell on Etsy: JackalMoonDesigns.
